women’s rights movement 100 years. Great
job you blankety blankety blank.
What this means:
1: I’m a mean girl who has decided to pick on someone
because everyone else is.
Or, possibly
2. You have chosen a lifestyle that shares many characteristics
with a time in which women weren’t treated well and didn’t have many
choices. A lot of people made a lot of
sacrifices so that things aren’t like that any more. For you to choose it makes
it seem like their efforts were in vain. Also, you are condoning such a
lifestyle. You are saying that it is
okay. Which isn’t too far from all of
society and lots of men thinking it’s okay.
Which isn’t too far from us being back where we were and we don’t want
that. And the thought of having to live
that life or having people look down on me for not is very scary. Also, I place
a great deal of value on my independence and my career. For you to not value
yours feels a lot like a smack in my face and getting smacked makes me
angry.
